Left To Die by Lisa Jackson
As promised, here is my review of this book.
Lisa Jackson is a tease.
She writes this book about a serial killer in Montana (of all places!) who’s cunning, cruel, psycho (well, that’s a given since he’s a serial killer), then throws in this second plot that you don’t realise IS a second plot until you’re about 2/3rds finished with this book and leaves you panting for the conclusion of the first plot which will come in the sequel Chosen to Die.
Although it took me a couple of chapters to really get into the book, once there, I couldn’t wait to get to the finish and all too often life interfered with that goal. There are a lot of people in this book who are key players and it sometimes gets difficult to keep them all straight. There is also a lot going on (just like in real life!), so you need to stay on your toes while reading this or you might just miss out on an important clue or event.
This is going to be one of those books that you can re-read and pick up more people, places, and events that you missed in the first go-round. I’m almost sorry now that I have offered to give it away to some lucky reader of this blog.
And just to recap that offer, leave me a comment either on this post or the one announcing the contest and you’ll be entered to win the book, Lisa Jackson’s Left to Die.
