Plum Lovin’ by Janet Evanovich is a “between the numbers” Stephanie Plum novellette. Janet Evanovich’s sense of humor really takes over in this lighthearted tale of love and relationships. Published in 2007,this short novel gets Stephanie involved with a super extra unusual guy name Diesel. Diesel has some extraordinary powers and he works for an intergalactic agency that specializes in tracking down other super able people who have gone bad and handles them.

Stephanie’s current trace (she’s a bond enforcement agent for her cousin, Vinnie) is one Annie Hart who also happens to be Unusual. However, Diesel has Annie in a safe house because his current trace is out to get her and he must keep her safe.

Diesel enlists Stephanie to complete Annie’s caseload and in return, he’ll turn Annie over to Stephanie once he’s gotten Beamer contained. Stephanie reluctantly agrees as it’s not like she’s covered up with work currently.

What follows is a hilarious tale of love and extraterrestrial shenanegans that will keep you in giggles.
